The all steel cutter head with a hardened and ground mandrel is infinitely adjustable from 3/8" to a full 2". Unclamping and rotating the outer ring adjusts the four cutting lugs simultaneously to the exact size required.

The new steel self-centering and equalizing stock guide is mounted directly on the cutter head and supports stock to within 1/4" of the cutter knives. Its "V" shoes accurately center off-size rectangular stock and eliminate chatter and vibration at high feed speeds.

Precision cut steel sleeves which hold the turned dowel until it is picked up by the outfeed rolls are available in increments of 1/32" I.D. These sleeves are attatched to the cutter head flange.

The all steel cutter head is hardened, precision ground and balanced. It is infinitely adjustable from 1-1/4" to a full 3-1/4". Unclamping and rotating the outer rings adjusts the four cutting lugs simultaneously to the exact size required.

Horizontal outfeed rolls are supplemented with a vertical outfeed roll attachment to double the holding power on the dowel. This eliminates twisting and spinning at high feed speeds and makes faster high quality production possible.
